Feta Greek / Traditional 1L
A tangy, salty, crumbly white brined cheese, traditionally made in Greece from sheep’s milk or a mix with goat’s milk (up to 30%), aged in brine, and protected by PDO status in the EU, meaning only authentic Greek feta can use the name there.
Baked in pies (tyropita) or with tomatoes and peppers (bougiourdi).
Served with olive oil and oregano.
Grilled or added to omelettes.

Authentic Greek Feta: Has Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) within the EU, guaranteeing its quality and origin.
“Feta-style” Cheese: Outside the EU, other countries make similar brined cheeses, often from cow’s milk, which can’t legally be called “feta” in Europe but are sold as such elsewhere.
